Pizza:  The pizza is pretty good; it has a thick strong flavored sauce, a fair amount of toppings.  It also has a sprinkling of herbs/spices on top that give it an interesting, but strong (for my taste) flavor.   It goes well with toppings like sausage and mushroom (my favorite), and pepperoni.  Not so well with the ham and pineapple pizza. 

Pricing is reasonable at $15.45 for a large 2 topping.  They also offer several Specialties and Favorites, and an 'Italian Crust' option.  Not my favorite pizza, but a very nice change.

Sandwiches: I had the House Deluxe Deli Sandwich, which was a large sandwich with ham, roast beef, cheese, tomato, and onion.  The topping portions were generous, fresh and it was a very filling sandwich.  If you are not a fan of strong onion, you may want to order it without.  It is served with so-so crinkle cut french fries, and is a value at $6.95.  There is a selection of other sandwiches at the same price.My son had the chicken strips.  Again, a man of few words, he said they were very good.  (Hint: get the 6-strip version over the 4 for only $.45 more!).  It comes with fries and side sauce.

Appetizers:  The mozzarella sticks were not the best, but they were very good.  It was 8 for $5.25 with sauce.  Potato skins were good, although at first they look like the ones you buy frozen in the store.  However the cheese sauce and bacon bits made them.  Again at 8 (my son says 6) for $5.25.

What really makes the visit to Peppi's is the atmosphere and decor.  It is a lot nicer than most pizza places.  There is a large TV on the front wall with a wide booth facing it.  We watched part of a World Series game on one visit.  At the back is a very small bar.  The nice decor even carries into the restrooms, which are nice and clean.  Service was always very friendly and prompt.
